So in honor of the site being online for 6 years this month, decided to give the site a new look. This new look was created by Designs by Cordy, who also did the last layout too for the site. I hope you all enjoy the new look of the site, I know I do. Also in honor of celebrating 6 years online, I want to do something special. Just haven’t figured out what, but when I do be on the look out for that. Along with the changing of the layout, I have changed some other things on the site. First up I changed the pic of the moment, it now features a picture from the I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Soap Star Spokesman competition (The photos can be found here). In the photos are Ricky Paull Goldin, Jason Cook and Greg Vaughan and here is the commercial Greg’s I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Commercial.. I have also changed the poll around so now it’s your favorite family relationship for Eric. I have also put up the final installment of the site newsletter. That can be found here. I want to thank you all who join in and participated. I really did enjoy putting it all together, but only so much I can do without repeating things. Maybe in the future I’ll see if I can bring it back, but for now enjoy the final issue. Lastly going to be trying to change some other things around and one of those things I know off hand is the video of the moment. Will be looking for a video to be our newest spotlight video. Otherwise enjoy the new layout. |
Greg posted a photo via Instagram last night a picture of an Extant script, saying his day was anything less then Magical. The Script was for episode 1 of season two. Exant Ran on CBS last summer and stars Hallie Barry and recently announced Jeffrey Dean Morgan as a series regular in Season two. Via CBS “Extant is a 13-episode serialized drama mystery thriller about a female astronaut trying to reconnect with her family after returning from a year in outer space. Her mystifying experiences in space lead to events that will ultimately change the course of human history.” No news yet of a date when it will return, but will return in the Summer. As more information becomes available will let you know. |
The site has reach it’s first milestone, we’ve been online for five years. When I first started the site I think I did it more for me, because there wasn’t many sites out there for Greg and I wanted one for fans to come to and enjoy. A place they could find out about the different projects Greg’s done over the years. I know we’ve also had some rocky times at first, but this site became so much more then I first dreamed up and that is because of the fans who visit it and who have donated media and to all the followers on twitter. Of course to Greg, for without him there would be no site. I am truly grateful that he likes the sites and supports it. I have to continue provide to you all an up to date site for all things Greg Vaughan. Hopefully we’ll be here for years to come. (Just a little side note, this site means so much to me and I’m glad I get to share it with everyone. Here’s to Five Years Online.) |
So I wanted to add something new to the site and a little different. Honestly this was inspired by the post the Days of Our Lives tweeted about the Salem Style. I thought why not maybe we could do a little newsletter for the site. Actually wanted to do something a little different and then changed it around a bit. So this one right now is going to be a tester Newsletter. Going to see how many people like it and want to see it again. If people like it, I might just make it a monthly thing. Right now there are four pages, Page one is little introduction about Greg and the different roles he’s done. The second page is a scene of the moment, which will be back if the newsletter continues, but for now it’s kind of just talking about Adrianne and Greg, as well as Eric and Nicole. In another issue it be about a scene that just really stood out and why. Page three is Blasted from the past, this time around it’s just talking about Greg’s General Hospital role Lucky Spencer. (It’s not easy writing up seven years of Lucky.) And the fourth page is a fan section. It’s got a little about the Days of Our Lives event that just past and an invite to share your fan experience or your thoughts on storylines. As well as credits for any photos we may have used. ( Also if the newsletter is to continue we may ask any if they’d be interested in writing something up. The different subjects on the pages can change at anytime, so they won’t always be the same. So if anyone thinks they might be interested in writing something up, feel free to contact us. Please be sure to let us know if you like it. (There are still a few mistakes and bugs to be worked out, but they will be figured out by the next issue.) The Newsletter can be found out The Fan Section of the site, under newsletter. |
We have a brand new layout for the main site and gallery. it was made by the amazing Tathy at Night and Day Design. I hope you like it as much as I do. With the new layout, I have added some new things. Added a new Photo of the moment, New Poll (Who you’d like to see Eric Brady with on Days), and added something new Gif of the moment. The scene that I picked is from when Greg surprised Chandra Wilson on The Bonnie Hunt Show. I will change that as much as I can. Some of the things coming up. Greg and Alison’s Hallmark Movie Second Chance’s Premieres Saturday July 27th at 9pm. Greg has his California event Monday July 29th, at 9am. Ticket and Info here. He is also part of the Days Boston event on Saturday August 3rd, starting at 10am. Ticket and Info here. When more information is available for the movie Greg is in And Then There Was You will be sure to let you all know. Until then, be sure to watch Greg weekdays on Days of Our Lives. Be sure to check out our birthday project for Greg. His birthday is this Saturday and we are trying to do something special. Check it out Here |
Greg announced last night that he is part of a new Indie Film called “And Then There Was You.” I happened to noticed it on his IMDB page and been trying to figure out if it was not a mistake, I know they have been known to do that from time to time. Wanted to know before I said anything, but glad Greg annouced. Here is a bit about the movies and an article on it.
